My New Legacy - Helms-Lear - Gen 1 - Ch. 13

My New Legacy

Alayna's Story
Generation One

Chapter Thirteen

Through the Years

The next several months were spent trying to teach the triplets how to talk, walk, and then finally potty train.

It wasn’t easy and Alayna more than once burst out into tears.

It was hard trying to train all 3 girls.

Then on top of it, they had money troubles. One baby would have been hard enough, but they had three.

Alayna was also a little disappointed that her parents never came to see the girls, or to offer any help.

Alayna was surprised by this. She knew her parents wanted to give her some tough love, but surely they knew she had hardly no money and now she had triplets to take care of.

However, every time Alayna saw one of the girls playing with those silly, ugly dolls, Alayna would laugh. The girls loved their dolls, and played with them non-stop.

Alayna tried not to think about her parents. She hadn’t heard from them for over a year now, and she tried calling, but the answering machine always said they were out.

She also tried not to think about their money problems.

And the fact that she did want another baby. She had been thinking a lot about it. She loved having children and loved the baby stage. She wanted a big family. She had grown up as an only child and even through she always got what she wanted and she was spoiled, she had also been lonely growing up.

She couldn’t believe that she really wanted a big family, but she did, and she couldn’t have it. The one thing she truly wanted in life and it was the one thing she couldn’t have, but she knew she would have another child, just not now. They couldn’t afford it and they had their hands full with the triplets. It was non-stop snugglings, feedings, changing diapers, and teaching them how to talk, walk, and potty train.

They spent the next following year just taking care of babies.

Eventually, Alayna found time to paint some. Christopher was still working at the diner, but he got a promotion, but it still wasn’t a lot of money. For now, they had to save their money.

Alayna painted every chance she could. It wasn’t a lot, and most of her time was spent taking care of the toddlers. They were getting a lot older now, and within the next year, or so would need a big girl’s bed.

Alayna didn’t want to think about that just yet.

One thing at a time,’ she told herself.

They wanted to add onto the house too. Right now they were all sleeping in the living room, but she was trying to save money to add the girls a bedroom and to finally get their own bedroom.

But it was all going to have to wait.

In the mean time, when Christopher wasn’t practicing his cooking, or going to work, or helping with the toddlers, he was taking care of their very small garden.

The apple tree was the first thing Alayna planted in honor of the girls and she didn’t want anything to happen to it. It had almost died a few months back, because they got so busy with everything else and forgot about the apple tree.

Alayna about cried. She wanted the tree to last her life time, and hopefully her children's, and maybe even grandchildren's life time.

Christopher saw how upset she was about it and decided right then and there that he would always take care of the apple tree.

After the girls learnt their skills, Alayna could devote all her time to painting. She painted non-stop whenever she could.

But after almost an year, they finally had enough money to add on.

It was a fairly large room and at first Alayna and Christopher were going to make it their bedroom, but with the girls soon needing big girl beds, it seemed better to make this the girls bedroom.

Alayna decided to paint a few paintings for the girls bedroom. They had a few extra hundred in the bank and decided that she didn’t have to sell this painting right away. So, she kept it for the girls room.

Finally, the room was set up and all the girls were asleep in their new room.

This ends Chapter 13.

Thank you for reading.

Have a great day and happy simming !

Cora Helms

100 Baby Challenge

Chapter 22

The next day, Bethany wanted to cook breakfast and Cora watched. It was Bethany’s first time.

Bethany burnt the food, but Cora ate it anyway. She didn’t want to hurt her daughter’s feelings.

Again, the kids were late for school.

This is the only bad thing about living on this beach lot.   The kids miss the bus all the time and the household is always late for parties, or anything else that requires a certain time to be at.

After the kids were gone, Cora invited Jared over for more pillow fighting and some sweet talk.

However, Cora wasn’t quite done with Jared just yet, and she sent the kids to the public pool after school.

Crista decided to go fishing in the pool while Caleb went for a swim.

Caleb was quite upset with his twin and told her, "You can't do that!"

"Yes, I can.  I can fish where ever I want," Crista hissed.

"No, you can't.   What if I get caught on the hook?" Caleb asked.

"Well, just be careful," Crista replied.

Caleb just rolled his eyes at his sister.  Sometimes she could be a pain in the bottom.

While Cora gave Jared flowers. She hoped it was worth the money.

She kissed him some more.

Until this happen! Jared ran out the door again, because he was late for work.

Cora was really mad. This was the second time he had left when they were so close.

So, this time she painted. She needed money again.

Arye helped her out too.

The twins went to the Karaoke Bar.

They seem to be having a great time.

Finally, it was time for everyone to go to bed. Cora was upset about Jared and really wanted to get pregnant again.

She was angry that baby # 6 seem to be not happening.

Tomorrow, she was going to try her hardest to get Jared in bed.

The next day, everyone worked on painting and getting money for the household.

Except for Bethany. She worked on breakfast while everyone painted.

It was only salad, but that was ok.

After lunch, the children played with their IFs.

It was Saturday and Cora decided to head over to Gobias Koffi’s house.

Thankfully, Gobias was home.

They talked for a little while, then decided to play tag all through the house.

Gobias has the childish trait. Cora doesn’t, but hey she thought why not.  He should be a lot of fun.

He caught her in the bathroom.

Thornton who was living there for the time being, thought it a tad strange. His ex- fling, the mother to his five children, playing tag with his roommate.

Cora went home that evening with another good friend, Gobias Koffi. He wasn’t the best looking guy and he was a lot older then she would have liked, but the truth was he was nice and fun to be around. He was also very easy to make friends with.

However, she never did talk to Jared today.  Maybe, tomorrow will be better.

100 Baby Challenge

Chapter 21

Well, Arye was finally a young adult. He was a handsome man. Cora was sad and glad he would be leaving soon. She was sad for her first born child would be moving out soon, but he would also be making room for new babies to come.

Arye ended up with the traits; virtuoso, friendly, genius, neat, and great kisser.

Soon it was time for Arye’s graduation. Our first one.

Finally, they made it to the main road.

They stood for a moment before going in. Some of the children really needed to take baths, but it was just going to have to wait. It was Arye’s special day.

Later, they came out of the court house and Cora was so proud of Arye. He was her first born and he had grown up so fast. She couldn’t hardly believe it.

Cora gave Arye a hug and told him she loved him and that she was very proud of him.

Doesn't Arye look handsome in his robes?

They came home and all the kids got make over’s.

Brie Anna with her new cloths and make over. She is a teen and her favorite color is pink.

Bethany’s favorite color is orange. Her with her new clothes and a close up of her face.

Bethany looks a lot like her dad, Thornton Wolff. She is really a pretty girl.

They went to bed that night. It had been a long day.

The next day, Arye got up and made breakfast. He would be moving out soon and Cora wanted to make sure he could cook before he moved out on his own.

Everyone was hungry and couldn’t wait to eat.

Of course, the bus came while everyone was eating.

So, everyone was running to the bus and that is when Cora noticed the bills on the ground. She didn’t know why the mail person threw her bills on the ground. It seem very rude and mean to Cora.

Of course, Cora didn’t have enough money to cover the bills. So, she went in search of something to sell. She ended up in the study and noticed the chairs.

She sold two of them.

It was enough to cover the bills. Cora realized she needed money bad. She had to get on with this challenge to get her child support checks.

So, she invited Jared Frio over. He found her in the bathroom and started a conversation up with her.

However, Cora moved him to the bedroom and asked to pillow fight. Jared agreed and had a great time.

Afterwards, Cora flirted, then got her first kiss with Jared.

One thing lead to another.

However, Jared had to leave. He had to work.

Cora was mad.

“Really, really,” Cora asked. Really upset that she was so close to getting Jared in bed, and then he just up and left.

So, Cora decided to call Christopher Steel instead and work on their friendship.

While the kids did their homework.

Caleb and Crista got some play time with their IFs’ before bedtime.

But it was soon time for bed and everyone slept while only a raccoon came to visit.
