Alayna's Story
Generation One
Chapter Six
Love is in the Air
Alayna woke up the next morning, feeling a little better about Christopher and her.
However, she needed to make some money and started painting as soon as she finished breakfast.
But before long all she could really think about was Christopher. He seem to fill her every thought and she soon gave up on painting and called him.
She asked him to come over and he showed up with in twenty minutes telling her that he couldn't wait to see her either. It should have taken him ten minutes, but he had to stop at the store to buy something.
He handed her a batch of flowers.
Alayna was so surprised and thrilled.
He was so taken with her that he blurted out, "Will you be my girlfriend?"
However, Alayna being so smitten with Christopher wanted something more from him.
And pulled out a diamond ring. Her parents had gave her the ring when they had dropped her off on this piece of land telling her she needed to get married.
But at this moment, all she wanted to think about was Christopher and her together forever.
He said yes!
And hug her.
However, he had already been thinking of asking Alayna to marry him. She filled his every thought, every second of the day. She was beautiful, smart, funny and he just wanted to be with her for the rest of his life.
"Alayna," he said, "I went to the store right before I came here, because I knew that I couldn't live without you. You are the greatest thing that has ever happen to me. Will you marry me right now?" he asked and pulled out two wedding bands.
Alayna was shocked, but in her heart felt deep, loving emotions, and she blurted out yes.
Christopher took that moment to put the wedding band upon her finger.
Alayna tried very hard not to cry. She was filled with so much joy and love.
He handed her the man's wedding band.
She put the wedding band on his finger as they promise to be faithful, to treat each other with respect, and care, and to love each other until death.
It was not the wedding that Alayna had ever imagine. No, big puffy dress, or a tuxedo, or roses everywhere, or even friends, or family.
But it didn't seem to matter, but in that moment all she could think was how wonderful it was to become husband and wife to a man she truly love.
Alayna was also excited because now she could live in an actual house. She couldn't wait to move in with Christopher Helms-Lear, ( yes, he took her last name. And her last name was actually combine of her mother and father's names ).
However, when she said something to Christopher, he told her that wasn't possible for her to move in with him. He had a roommate and they actually was the one on the lease agreement and they had no intention of someone else moving in.
So, Christopher moved in with Alayna. Well, at least Christopher work and had some money.
He did have some money saved a little over $ 5000.00 dollars plus an old car that was worth about $ 2000.00, but he didn't want to sell the car just yet. He has had it since a teenager.
He did agree to spend his savings on fixing up the house.
They spent the next month fixing up the house. It wasn't much, just a large, long room that was there living room, kitchen, and their bedroom. They had a smaller room added on for a bathroom.
They spent the rest of the money on an actual double bed, since she only had a twin. They spent the last month not even sleeping in the same bed. They finally bought a dresser, and another counter, an a stove, a sofa and a TV. She kept the single bed just in case they might have a child some day.
Finally, the day came when they could actually make love. Both had never been with anyone else before and that made it even more special knowing they were going to be each others first. Knowing that their love was pure and as they went they would be learning together.
And they ended the day knowing that they very much love each other.
