My New Legacy - Helms-Lear - Gen 1 - Chapter Seven

My New Legacy

Alayna's Story
Generation One

Chapter Seven

Life Together

The next couple of days, Alayna spent it painting and taken Christopher to buy some new clothes.

Alayna hated Christopher's old P.J.s.

So, she had him get a better pair.

He also had no sense of style since this seem to be his favorite outfit.

She picked out his new outfits.

And his hair style made him seem so much older than what he was. He was the same age as her.

With a new hair cut, he looked so much younger and better.

However, their money was starting to run out and Alayna painted most of the day and sold her painting.  The neighbors and even the town of Sunset Valley seem to like her work even if she was new at it, and needed some more practice.  She was starting to make a name for herself.

Finally, she was getting hungry and decided to make a salad.  Christopher really needed to be the one cooking since he had a job working at the local diner, but he knew Alayna wanted to improve on some of her skills.

So, he decided to work on some of his skills.  However, unclogging the toilet was not something he really wanted to do, but it needed to be done.

He finished up the toilet and washed his hands, then noticed a stray cat outside.

He went outside to befriend it and noticed how pretty the cat was.

He played with the cat for a while hoping to befriend it and make it a pet, but the cat eventually ran off.   Christopher was a little disappointed, but went inside to eat dinner.

Soon, Alayna and him went to bed.  They had been in their new place for a month now and it almost seemed unreal.  They both felt like they were in a whirl wind of a life together.  Everything seem to be moving so fast.

However, Alayna was thankful to finally get a roof over her head.  She enjoyed being with Christopher and loved the fact that she believe she married her soul mate.

She was still slightly angry at her parents, but as time wore on it was starting to fade.

Alayna went to bed that night happy with the life she has.

This ends Chapter Seven.  I hope you enjoy.  Thank you for reading.
