100 Baby Challenge

Chapter Three

The next morning, Cora woke up and found she was sick.  Well, she figure she was pregnant.  After all, wasn't this what her challenge was about. 

However, no one told her how bad morning sickness was, or the fact that you could have it all day.

While Cora was throwing up, Thornton was at the mirror doing whatever. 

Appearently, the bathroom mirror wasn't enough he had to move to the bedroom mirror which is exactly the same as the bathroom mirror. 

Really Thornton?!  What is Cora going to do with you?

Cora was hungry so she made breakfast and called Thornton to the meal. 

However, he didn't set down with her.  Cora was feeling a little self conscious again.  Maybe, he didn't really like her. 

Well, she was just using him to gain a baby, but deep down she did wish he liked her a little.  She liked him.  Even if that wasn't the way her challenge was suppost to go, but she couldn't help herself.  He was sweet, and charming, and very handsome. 

Cora knew she was kind of falling for Thornton and knew that was bad.

After breakfast, Cora went upstairs to paint.  She figured while she was pregnant this would be a good time to work on her skills. 

Also, she had already decided to use Thornton again for her second baby.  She knew that the challenge wasn't suppost to go that way, but they said to use as many different men as possible.  She figured in the beginning to use the same men twice wouldn't hurt.  It would be easier for her to get the next baby while she befriended men in town.

While she painted upstairs, Thornton was downstairs reading. 

Cora wondered if this challenge was really worth it.  It was asking a lot of her.  This is her first child and already she was worrying.  She had barely no money and painting was going slow.

However, it was a great house with a great view and it was large enough to take care of a large family.  She painted some and sold them.  Hopefully, she could get enough to pay the bills.

Where's Thornton?!

Did he leave?   He didn't even say goodbye.

Oh nevermind!

He sure does love himself.   He is brushing his teeth now, but soon after he was looking himself over again. 

Later that night, Cora got her first baby bump.  She decided to tell Thornton, because she did like him so much, but because he didn't go home. So, he was going to notice her belly.

She was a little nervous about telling him.  It was so soon after they had just met.  How would he feel about having a child?  Would he be upset with her?  Would he yell at her?

With such relief, he took it quite while.

And Cora a little shocked by this, he even gave her a thumbs up!

and a kiss.

Cora was hungry and made dinner.

While Thornton brushed his teeth before he ate!?  Normally, people do this after they eat, but ok.

Again they ate in different rooms.  Thornton really did have Cora wondering if it was her or what.

Even with Thornton eating in a different room, Cora still had a need that needed to be taken care of and Thornton was happy to help.

He was quite proud of himself, and struted in his fashion. 

Cora asked him to spend the night again and he did.
