Chapter 16

The next day, Cora did her usual stuff.  She found a moment to call Jared and talk.  She would invite him over, but the house was a mess and she really didn't have the time to entertain someone. 

However, talking about 15 minutes on the phone could do wonders for a relationship.

A little later, she was cleaning and heard barking.  She went outside to find two strays on her lawn.   They were pretty dogs, but she didn't need them hanging around her house.  So, she shooed them away.

After school, she sent Arye to buy birthday cakes.

( I didn't know kids could buy groceries.  That's very helpful in this challenge, I think. )

So, first up was the babies. 

Aww, Crista doesn't look happy at all. 


( But she actually grew up well and I picked her traits.  Same for Caleb too.  He grew up well. ) 

 

Cora thought she looked more like her dad. 


( Where did the blond come from?   Cora was made in CAS and Thornton is an EA sim that has Black hair with white highlights.  So, where did blond come from?  )

Next up was Caleb.

Cora thought him and Crista look a lot alike.  However, Caleb has his mom's eye color, a light brown.  He does seem to have Thornton's mouth.

Next up was Arye. 

He has a mix between Thornton's black hair and Cora's brownish-red hair giving him a dark brown.  However, he looks more like Cora.  He also has Cora's eye color.

He was dead tired after his birthday and went straight to bed.  He was now able to sleep in the Teen Boys Bedroom.

Cora took care of the toddlers needs, then made sure everyone was put to bed before she finally made it to bed herself.  It had been a long day with all the birthdays.
