Chapter Seven
The next morning, Cora once again found herself throwing up and she stuck her foot in the trash can. She was glad Thornton hadn't seen that.
She hoped this was a good sign of baby # 2.
She was straving and had to actually eat first before she took care of Arye.
She wondered where Thornton was and found him in the study.
However, Arye was crying and she had to take care of him. Thornton came down also to check on Arye.
She had to go to the bathroom and found that she was indeed pregnant again.
However, she had needs and went to find Thornton.
Well, what a girl wants - in the shower?!
While little Arye played with his toy.
Thornton left the shower, got dressed, and went to the piano. He wasn't very good, yet.
Cora decided to cook.
After they ate, Cora wanted to flirt again and Thornton was all for that.
Except that Arye started crying again and Cora had to go take care of him.
Which didn't make Thornton happy.
Cora went to take care of Arye's needs, then read him a bedtime story.
Which soon put Arye to sleep.
Cora went and found Thornton and started to flirt again. She asked him to spend the night again and he agreed.
Cora went to her room thinking that Thornton would follow.
However, he decided to sleep in the Teen Boys Bedroom.
Cora was mad. Men!!
She called him to her and he came. He gladly jumped in bed with her and Cora filled her want.
However, afterwards, Thornton jumped out of bed and headed for the door.
Cora: "Where are you going?" ( she demanded )
Thornton: "I'm sorry. It's just that the beds upstairs are more comfortable." Then he left the room.
Cora went to sleep feeling angry at Thornton. She wasn't for sure if he was telling the truth. After all, her bed cost a lot more than the bunk beds upstairs. How could he say that bunk beds were more comfortable.
Thornton wondered upstairs and went to bed. He wasn't exactly telling Cora the whole truth, but he wasn't sure how to tell her.
And he noticed that she was pregnant again. He wanted kids, but so soon and so close together. He just wasn't sure about being a father yet.
